A double height glazed box defines the rear, north-facing, extension for this Victorian house in Battersea, South-West London.
We managed to retain the existing volume made of London bricks to contrast the lightness of the glass box.
The basement level, comprising of the kitchen-dining, TV room and an office area, features polished concrete floor, and concrete panels throughout the garden to give the sense of continuity once the sliding doors are fully open.
The garden comprises of a 20 m. swimming pool.
